The Art as a generative principle

The art object, a hemisphere, shows its function as aroma diffuser in the expression and form through the symbology of the sphere. The sphere, symbol of perfection, of absolute regularity. Everyone can remember the definition of the sphere as “the set of points that are all at the same distance from a given point in three dimensional space.”

This characteristic, unique compared to other geometric figures, can only assign it an emblematic role in our collective imagination. Spherical or hemispherical, it depends on our vision, it is our eye, our own planet. It is a pregnant womb, an egg and other endless expressions like Borges in Aleph, in the parallel words of Escher, in the Pomodoro’s sculpture “Sfera con Sfera”, in the spheres of Lucio Fontana, in surreal and mysterious paint of R. Magritte “Le Faux Miroir”, in “Das Glasperlenspiel” of H. Hesse or in the definition of the circle of C.G, Jung “The symbol of the circle, whether manifested in the solar cults of primitive peoples or in modern religions, in myths or dreams, in the mandala patterns of Tibetan monks, or in astronomical charts, always indicates the essential aspect of life, its overall and definitive wholeness.”

From this prelude, the olfactory and visual object of the “diffuser” is unique, unrepeatable. Every imperfection is a value. The chosen matter is the organic clay (earth element) that meets the fire through the included candle, fed by the air through the four top holes (cardinal points) and lateral holes made in a circle, they diffuse symbolically what is the water element in the Olfactive Synergy which is purposefully created for every element:

TERRAE – AQUA – AER – IGNIS

(the Elements that compose everything in the fiscal universe and archetype)

The art object is baked (in two steps) at 1280° or more depending on the result that needs to be obtained. The Orsoni glasses (Venice) melting creates the right and singular games of shades in the expression of “Fusioni Vitree”
